Inter-Club Social report by Pam Brown
Tonight, five of us travelled down to Alnwick for the last of this year’s inter-club socials which was hosted by Alnwick Harriers and joined by Tweed Striders, Blyth & Wooler Running Clubs
After a mix up with times and venues we eventually got 40 or so runners together next to the Playhouse and we chose between 5k and 8k run options. Despite the fading light, we were treated to a beautiful (mainly off road) route around Denwick and along The Pastures.
Luckily, we had enough time for a drink in the Alno Lounge before they produced a great buffet, enjoyed by us as we chatted with the other clubs, upstairs in the private lounge.
